The self-guided weekend tour is the signature experience of Get Out Kayak in which our wilderness guides help you plan your perfect kayak tour, with everything you need included and with a suggested itinerary tailored to your preferences and to the current weather conditions. You then set out on the tour on your own, with all the knowledge and equipment you need provided by us.
Our guides are carefully selected for their competence and level of service, which is reflected in the kind words of our guests in their reviews. They are all certified wilderness guides with kayak specialization and they all know the archipelago very well.

Starting with a nice coffee and fika, continuing with great tips for camping places, routes and towards the end of our trip we enjoyed a nice warm shower!!
Also the showers and toilets are super clean!
Altogether the staff at getoutkayak got me going quite fast and with confidence.
Although my kayak offered sufficient storage space it still pays of to think about what food and drinks to bring and how this is packed. I recommend not to bring any glass wine bottles. Bring wine in Tetra Pak. They can easily be compressed when empty. Minimize packaging material for all foods before attempting to stuff it into the kayak. And bring the best camping pillow you can afford and source. As a minimum bring something to sit on. The staff gives you a foam mat which is good for a coffee or lunch break during the day. I brought a lightweight camping chair for the evenings. It was well worth the investment for this trip alone.
This is the closest you will get to being in or on the ocean unless you are actually swimming or diving in it. I will be back for more outstanding adventures.
I would have loved to share a few photos from the trip. Unfortunately TripAdvisor returns an error message when I try to upload.
The material is really good, modern and comfortable kayaks, very good waterproof tent (we had 20mm in 2 hrs and survived the test), comfortable exped sleeping mats and a lot more things you need for camping. Great when you come by plane and dont want to drag all the material along. Value for money is unbeatable. On arrival we got good explanation of all the material and kayakking itself. There is a predefined route given, but you also get tips were you can divert from this. Even when we wrote a short message while kayakking on where to go, we got a direct reply with some good tips.
The Archipellage itself is wonderful to discover by kayak and the wildcamping with beautiful sunsets makes it an unforgetable experience! Quit sure we will be back to discover some other of the 30.000+ islands in the archipellago and will book with Get Out Kayak again for sure.
