All excellent: varied terrain of hiking path, expertise and amiability of staff, scenery, lunch, conversation, physical challenge.
Beyond expectation!

I'd like to thank everyone in True Nature Sweden, especially my guide Marc. I was very much looking forward to this hiking tour; I used to go hiking a lot but have never been to the north of Europe. Also, my health condition temporarily prevents me to go hiking on my own. I was looking for other ways to experience and learn something new and that is how I found True Nature Sweden. My guide Marc took me on a nicely balanced hiking tour where I could have the sense of being in the wild, and yet feel safe all the time. It meant the world to me! Also, it was obvious that Marc knows a lot about nature both out of the experience and by studying, as I've seen and learnt new things beyond expectation. I regret not recording at least part of what he was saying. A big thanks to Marc, I really enjoyed the hiking and highly appreciate the time and effort he dedicated to me. And, for the delicious lunch! :-)
Solo hiking trip

Had the opportunity to do a solo tour with Alex. He was a great conversationalist and made me laugh throughout the hike. Aside from his great rapport, he was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of the forest. Definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for an escape from city life and to enjoy being in nature. Alex and pretty much conversated through the entirety of the tour that the 7.5ish mile hike went by fast.
Great Hike, Excessively Late Start
sftravlnman, 25-08-2022
The hiking trip was good overall. We got off to a rocky start when one person who signed up for the hike was late. He wasn’t 5 or 10 minutes late - he was nearly a half hour late. For that entire time, we sat …. And waited. Our strong advice to True Nature management: it’s fine to have a short grace period, but it’s disrespectful to the rest of the group - and to you - for guests to ignore your request to be on time.
Leaving a half hour late, Oscar led us on a great hike, with good lessons along the way on various plants, animals, and nature itself. He cooked us a great lunch over an open fire, and the weather could not have been better for the day.
Another suggestion to True Nature; consider offering a private booking option, so that future guests have an option if they don’t wish to risk being shortchanged on time as we were.
